Complex Laser Training

Complex laser training is advanced education in the use of medical and aesthetic laser devices, covering in-depth concepts, techniques, and safety protocols across a variety of platforms. Depending on needs and devices, combination treatments for different skin conditions will be covered, along with advanced settings to improve outcomes.

Core Laser Curriculum Topics:

1. Laser Physics Refresher:

  • Wavelengths, chromophores, tissue interaction

  • Pulse duration, fluence, spot size, cooling systems

2. Device-Specific Protocols for Lutronic devices:

  • eCO2 vs. Er:YAG fractional technology

  • Mosaic 1550nm vs. Ultra Thulium 1927nm technology

  • Nd:YAG 1064nm vs. Alexandrite 755nm technology (ClarityII) for vascular, pigment, and hair reduction

  • Nd:YAG vs. KTP 532nm long pulse technology (DermaV) for vascular and pigment

  • Nd:YAG 1064nm vs 532nm Nano-pulse technology (Hollywood Spectra)

  • Radiofrequency microneedling smart technology (Genius)

  • IPL vs. true lasers: applications and limits

3. Clinical Applications:

  • Skin resurfacing (full field & fractional)

  • Acne, melasma, PIH management

  • Scars, striae, and deep dermal remodeling

4. Complication Management:

  • Identifying & treating burns, PIH, hypopigmentation

  • Post-care & recovery optimization

5. Advanced Combination Treatments:

  • Laser + RF microneedling

  • Laser-assisted drug delivery (LADD)

  • Combining laser technology, such as Alexandrite 755nm with Thulium 1927nm

6. Safety & Compliance:

  • ANSI standards and OSHA compliance

  • Proper eyewear and plume evacuation

7. Hands-On Case Studies & Live Demos:

  • Simulated patient scenarios

  • Protocol building & device

Injectables Training

Beginner Injectable Training typically targets new aesthetic providers who have little to no foundational knowledge of neurotoxins, dermal fillers, or biostimulators. Course will cover basic anatomy, on and off label uses, and complication management.

Advanced Injectable Training typically targets experienced aesthetic providers who already have a foundation in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and biostimulators. Focusing on advanced anatomy, off-label use, complication management, and combination treatments to elevate results safely.

Core Cirriculum

1. Anatomy Refresher

  • Upper Face Anatomy- beginner

  • Lower Face Anatomy- beginner and advanced

  • Neck and Declotte- advanced only

  • Off-face indications- advanced only

2. Neuromodulator Review

  • Beginner

    • Upper face Neuromodulator- glabellar complex, frontalis, crows feet

  • Advanced

    • Lower face Neuromodulator (masseter, DAO, mentalis, platysma bands

    • Neck (Nefertiti lift)

    • Hyperhidrosis treatment

3. Dermal Fillers

  • Midface volumization- beginner and advanced

  • Tear trough correction- advanced only

  • Jawline and chin contouring- beginner and advanced

  • Temple hollows- advanced only

  • Cannula technique vs needle

3.  Safety

  • Vascular anatomy (avoidance of danger zones)

  • Complication management (e.g., occlusions, nodules, Tyndall effect)

  • Hyaluronidase protocols

  • Emergency kit preparation (including aspirin, hyaluronidase, nitroglycerin, etc.)

4. Injection Techniques & Tools

  • Microcannulas vs sharp needles

  • Layering and depth precision

Combination Training

Combining advanced aesthetic injection techniques with aesthetic laser devices is a powerful approach to providing comprehensive, synergistic aesthetic results for patients. This integrative strategy maximizes outcomes by addressing both volume and structure (injectables) and skin quality and tone (lasers). Here's a breakdown of how to effectively combine them:

Depending on where each practitioner is in their aesthetic journey, Aesthetic Fixx will tailor this advanced approach for injectables and combination aesthetic devices to your office needs. You will gain:

1. Understanding the synergy of treatments.

2. Understanding the sequence of layering injectables and aesthetic device technology.

3. Understanding the clinical implications and considerations for pairing injectables and wavelengths.

4. Understanding for the importance of the consultation and staff knowledge.
